OMG! A Musical Tragedy

I just want to start out by saying that I’m not the kind of person who usually posts something just because a celebrity passed away, but I was really devastated when Avicii (Tim Bergling) was found dead this week on 20 April 2018. Not only was he a great musician, but he was only 28. That is very young, and I wish that he could have stayed with us longer to continue creating wonderful music for us.

Book Review: Freeks by Amanda Hocking

For the first time reading a book from Amanda Stocking it sure was something that displayed originality from books that are trending nowadays. Of course, it still has people with supernatural abilities, but it kept its focus on day-to-day circumstances and experiences, rather than giving detailed explanations of how everything worked and what everything meant. Considering the book aims towards teenage readers, it also helps them relate to dramas that they may be confronting during their adolescent life.

Furthermore, the plot of the story keeps you at the edge of your seat until you finish reading the last page. It contains a lot of mystery and you never really can guess who – or what – the culprit is. You just keep turning those pages in the hope that the next one will tell you what is going on. It’s exuberating!
